DESCRIPTION:The image of the kaiako; writing Learning Stories for each otherEmma Parangi\, Educational Leadership Project \nWednesday 14 August\, 7-8:30pm \nJust as our view of tamariki is culturally and socially created\, so are our views of ourselves as kaiako. How does this show up in our whanaungatanga with our colleagues\, mentors\, mentees\, and student kaiako? Are we engaging in regular reflective practices exploring our thoughts and feelings about our roles as kaiako?Join Emma for this wānanga to unpack these pātai together.We will explore how learning stories are the perfect form to shift\, uplift\, broaden\, or strengthen our views of ourselves and each other. Learning stories can be multi-functional\, and an essential function is to communicate with who you are writing to\, through a strength based approach to learning and growth.
